Singer Armaan Malik and T-Series have postponed the release of their new song Zara Thehro for Sushant Singh Rajput’s Dil Bechara Trailer.

The song was scheduled to release on July 6, on the same day as that Dil Bechara’s trailer. But Armaan and T-Series decided to push the release date of the song to July 8 as a mark of respect for the late Bollywood star.

“I just learned that the trailer of Dil Bechara also releases on July 6, and as a mark of utmost respect for Sushant Singh Rajput, we as a team have collectively decided to postpone the release of our upcoming single ‘Zara thehro’ to July 8. Thank you for your patience,” Armann tweeted on Sunday.

The young singer also wrote: “Watching Sushant on and off screen always made me smile. His loss continues to feel personal. Tomorrow, when we watch the trailer of #DilBechara, let us celebrate his boundless talent, his enthusiasm and more importantly HIM.”

“#SushantSinghRajput, you will forever remain in our hearts. We are here to announce that #ZaraThehro will now release on 8th July,” read a tweet on T-Series’ official handle.

Dil Bechara is Sushant’s final film. It is the official remake of 2014 Hollywood romantic drama The Fault In Our Stars, based on John Green’s popular novel of the same name.

Sushant passed away on June 14. He died by suicide, Mumbai police confirmed.

Kriti Sanon feels it is going to be “really hard” for her to watch the late Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara, which releases on a digital platform on July 24.

The trailer of Dil Bechara released on Monday. Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Kriti Sanon posted: “#DilBechara. Its gonna be really hard to watch this one.. but how can i not!! #Sush @castingchhabra @sanjanasanghi96.”

Kriti featured alongside Sushant in the 2017 film Raabta directed by Dinesh Vijan. The two actors were rumoured to be dating ahead of the film’s release.

Shortly after Sushant’s death last month, Kriti had shared an emotional post. “A part of my heart has gone with you… and a part will always keep you alive. Never stopped praying for your happiness and never will,” the actress had written in a post dedicated to Sushant.

Dil Bechara is the official remake of 2014 Hollywood romantic drama The Fault In Our Stars, based on John Green’s popular novel of the same name. It narrates a fairytale love story with a tragic ending. The film follows a young couple in love, as they meet and fall for each other. The tragedy about the story comes with the fact that he has a brush with osteosarcoma, while she is fighting thyroid cancer. The story then takes the audience on an emotional ride as they embark on a bittersweet journey in a bid to live life to the fullest.

In the trailer, Sushant comes across as a happy guy, who is in love with life and wants to spread cheer. There is a sequence where he calls himself a fighter, and there is one instance where he says: “We don’t decide when we are born or when we will die, but we can decide how we live”. The lines seem to get a new meaning after his demise.

Last month, Sushant was found hanging in his Bandra residence by his domestic help, which left Bollywood and his fans shocked. He was reportedly battling depression over the past few months and undergoing treatment.

A star has been named after Sushant Singh Rajput by a fan as a tribute to the late actor’s incessant curiosity about celestial bodies.

A fan of Sushant Singh Rajput has announced that she has dedicated a star to the actor’s name and has registered it with an international star registry. The fan named Raksha posted the certificate of registration on her Twitter page, saying that she found it quite fitting to name a star after him since he was so fond of celestial bodies.

The certificate read, “Let it be known to all that the star residing at the astronomically verified position of RA 22.121 and Declination – 10.14 is hereby named for June 25, 2020, as Sushant Singh Rajput. The name is permanently filed in the Registry’s vault and copyrighted with The Star Register with all rights and privileges attended thereto.”

A message dedicated to the Chhichhore actor is also printed on the certificate. It reads, “Sushant Singh Rajput, although you will be missed dearly, you shall forever be celebrated and cherished for eras to come. Your gleaming eyes reflected the entire cosmos within them and your exuberant smile radiated incessant light and warmth throughout this dark, desolate world. Your inspiring journey of single-handedly transforming your profound aspirations into reality through your unfaltering earnestly, persistency and ambition shall forever resonate with us all.

“Your endearing sincerity, simple desire to be wholeheartedly loved and perpetual quest to attain a permanent state of happiness shall not go unheard any longer. We all hope to continue your unparalleled legacy by embarking upon the indefinite process of consistently evolving. The actor was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment on June 14. Police are still investigating the cause of his death. His last film Dil Bechara will be released posthumously.

Bollywood actor late Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Disha Salian died by suicide by jumping off the 14th floor of her apartment in Malad on the night of June 8.

Now, Salian family has issued an official statement, in which they have urged people to stop spreading “unnecessary rumours, conspiracy theories and speculations” surrounding her death which they claim are “hampering the well being of her parents and close ones.”
